Dear ravi,

I appreciate the wholehearted support for the initiative. It's encouraging for the team at all levels. However as a past exe member I am not sure how to react,just like in any organization each project is important but it must work within budgets that the organization  has put aside for it. 

As a practice each project is used to hone skills  of managers on campus. The budget pushes each of us to achieve more with less resources and it also tests our capability. Likewise for every project a budget sets the boundaries to achieve more (deviations can be dealt with for internal analysis) but no project can be given a free hand.

As an initiative  bizorion is marketable and connects with corporates to support it. It being closest to my heart I would want to spend all the money and resources to make it big ... BUT... We have been taught by our mentors and we want our current team also to work within budgets and understand how to achieve more in less. They should learn how to cut cost but not hold back on investments. 

Please don't take this personally  but we would like this to follow the laid down process of exe... that every penny is important and yes TOGETHER we all will achieve the best for biz  and jb.  

Please approve the budget after  due justification and thorough  check of demands made by biz team. The additional funds raised is corpus for future. Hoping to receive your mail with underwritten amount from exe and studied +compared budget so the next leadership team knows how to work next year as well.

I may have misinterpreted your mail... am not sure... but your mail hints at something that I don't subscribe to. All projects our team undertakes must be professionally managed and must be optimised.

Take this as constructive criticism not something to demean your authority  as finance team head. Please guide punit and manvendra  with the budget and closure in the prescribed format.
