Directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, this is a film version of the book "The Wolf of Wall Street" by Jordan Belfort. Jordan Belfort founded the firm Stratton Oakmont, aboiler room operation which employed over 1000 stock brokers. Belfort was indicted in 1998 for securities fraud and money laundering. Basically this guy was one of the bad apples of Wall Street - and this movie tells his tale.
