How long are you making this "summary"? Can 2 pages be considered as a summary?

I think 2 pages is way too short for this question. Refer to the 1st End of Module exercise for format/length.

Thanks for your opinion. How long are you making it? I currently have 2 pages and might add another 0.5 page but I am concerned about writing too much since the task clearly states 'summarize' your work.... On the other hand, the memo does include a executive summary, so upper management can always opt to just read the executive summary.

I'm thinking more like 4 pages on this one, but that's just me :)

without the appendix, my first draft is close to 3.5 pages - basically just summarizing each of the tasks and highlighting the conclusions/observations from each

Thanks for the feedback, Dana. Did you basically replicate the structure and approach as the EOM exercise for Module 1?

I ended with 3 (full) pages and I do have the same sections as EOM1.

Yes, I followed the same structure as what was used in EOM 1 exercise - it was helpful to have that to follow!

Where did you guys stick in the results of Task 4 and 5? Do you just put this under the Analysis: Methods & Assumptions section?

Cool. Sounds like we're on the same page. I'm also going to throw the assumptions page in the appendix.

Hey so I just read the instructions defining the difference between a formal and informal memo and it seems like the only one is the fact that we have to use paragraphs versus bullet lists. Neverthless, when I look at the EOM 1 Exercise, there are a ton of bulleted points.
Any thoughts on this?

I believe that having bullet points in a formal memo is Ok as long as they are note used to "draw a line" between the main ideas of your memo...so i think you could use the bullet points to list some items...hopefully I understood it right because that's what I did!
Hope it helps you!
Good luck!

I wanted to list the assumptions (in bullets) under the Data and Assumptions section. It seems too important to me to move to an appendix.
