I don't know that many of you are checking back here, but it looks like the graders have gotten to the point of grading submissions from our group. And by that, I mean they graded the first 3/5 submission last night.

Given the amount of submissions on 3/5 and 3/6, it looks like grading for our group will go on for at least a few weeks depending on how representative the sample on the FA grading spreadsheet is.

In the meantime, feel free to post results here as they come in!

Congrats! It was I who originally commented "I hope you receive your results in a flash!" but it would appear that comment has since been replaced.

On a negative note, I'm not seeing any FA results on the spreadsheet. I'm just crossing my fingers that it's because people whose submissions were graded happened to not post on the spreadsheet, because a grading halt would be quite unfortunate timing.

My guess (read: hope) is that the 7 hour span between Austin's submission (4:50 am EST) and the next submission (12:00 pm EST) might contain several unaccounted for submissions.

lol omg this makes my day! ahahahahaha! I was wondering who's the brilliant guy noticed that I'm the fastest man alive! :p

My time is actually 12 hours earlier than the EST time. So I was submitting it at 4:50 p.m my time. Kinda feel that the graders are going slower and slower nowadays, perhaps they are switching to IA grading and then will accumulate the FA submission and have a grading party for it later?

Hope you guys pass as well!!!! Thank you all.

JL, Your message nearly gave me a heart attack! I forgot that I had turned on e-mail subscriptions for this group.

After seeing the result come through for a 3/6 submission, I turned on e-mail notifications on my phone, and your message here made my phone buzz and say "New e-mail received. Subject: FA Result"

I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THAT. But looking at my IA results e-mail, the subject line should be something like "FAP Final Assessment Grading Result", so I'm prepared for the future.

I submitted mine pretty early on Friday so ideally I'm near the front of the queue, but there are still people from 3/4 and 3/5 waiting on results so... I'm expecting my grade anytime between right now and a week from now.

Congrats!

It sure has taken a while for the 3/5 and 3/6 submissions to be graded... and from what it seems, a few 3/6 submissions are still waiting for results.

DNMMR and am redoing it right now (luckily got it back early enough to give it another shot.  Had a quick question for those of you the MMR about task 2 question 2 (2. Recommend risk/return requirements for the education fund and justify your recommendation.).  Did you go for a more qualitative answer (i.e., go over fund objectives, etc.) or quantitative answer (i.e., Mean under x, CTE(90) value between y and z, etc.) or a combination of both?

Good luck Andrew! I believe I did a bit of both. Explained why my quantitative risk/return metric met the objectives of the Board. I did not use the Sharpe Ratio like many suggested. One of the articles on CTE helped me a lot. It was the article that explained the pros and cons of pretty much all the risk/return metrics

We Should minimize CTE firstly  after minimize mean , or the inverse ?

Depends on your risk/return metric. You don’t necessarily need to do both

Andrew, my answer for that question was also part qualitative (explained why I chose my risk/return requirement using the metrics I did) and part quantitative (explained why it satisfies the objectives of the Board and set a range for determining my recommended tax).
