Hello Everyone,
I suspect there's going to be a lot of legal issues regarding copyright ownership of images that were created or modified by AI.
I also think that a lot of AI stuff doesn't really run on your own computer because most personal computers can't run most AI models. I think the computing is actually done "in the cloud", which might be a problem with images of a sensitive or proprietary nature.
My prediction is that all the people who can't find programming work because of AI will end up becoming lawyers.

Digital artists: Re all this discussion about FM being out of date. No question it is, but it still has uses. Here are a couple of examples using a 16 bit plugin for Irfanview to simulate Chuck Close paintings using reference photos and about 1100 drawing option combinations:

Paul, and Roberto:
Found my 32 bit version 8BF. It works with Photoshop and Irfanview. Here is the List I loaded for Irfanview:

Paul: Most of my FM filters were available 16 - 20 years ago in the FM news letters. Query Lotis Digital Arts at: LDAimages.com for your request.

Most of the examples are from the Mosaic Took, A few are from the Chuck Close tool kit.
The guideline for these plugin is no longer available. If there
is interest, I could probably generate a new one. Note I was 20
years younger when I was creating my list FM 8BFs
32 Bit Plug-in Filter Installation:
Copy 8bf file to the plug-in filter directory for the photo
graphics application.
For Adobe PhotoShop this was a directory like: C:\Program
Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Filters.
For 32 bit version Paint Shop Pro X this was a directory like:
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro X\PlugIns.
Earlier versions of Paint Shop Pro by JASC may use a different
plugin directory.
Other programs, such as the free IrfanView graphics program
also support plug-in filters. Follow their directions for plug-in
installation.

Paul: I dont have any 64 bit 8fbs. so the 32 bit stuff requires a 32 bit graphics app such as 32 bit irfanview or older 32 bit versions of photoshop, paintshop pro, etc. I suggest that you look at the Mosaic Tool kit. It has 20 year old 8FB, FFP, CPP and a readme guide. Others have 8BF and FFP but not documented or not found yet.
