NYC Filmmaker Network-Social Night October 7, 2009 (FREE)

IndieNights will hold its next filmmaker networking/social night on
Wednesday,
October 7th, 2009, beginning 6:30 PM ... at Agave, 140 Seventh Avenue
South (between 10th and Charles Streets in Manhattan).

There is never a fee or cover for IndieNights, but a 1 drink or food
purchase minimum is required. The meeting is in a convenient Manhattan

IndieNights creates regular gatherings in Manhattan where writers,
directors, producers, actors, crew members, publicists, musicians and
vendors, et. al. can mingle and exchange ideas...and business cards.
We also invite those with experience in financing film, whether they
be actual investors or brokers...and NY-based distributors, casting
directors and talent agents. Please note, these events are not for
actors, thanks you.

Recent event attendees have included: NY casting directors from Liz
Lewis Casting; a distributor looking for projects for release in
Japan; the CEO of Intrinsic Value Films; director John Gallagher (The
Deli and Blue Moon), and actress McKenzie Westmore (NBC's Passions,
and ABC's All My Children) Several attendees now have projects under
consideration by film hedge funds because of meeting someone in our
network nights. You just never know who will show at IndieNights'
meetings, and our turnouts are growing.
