Here are the nominations for March 2013. I have decided to focus on directors who are known for dramas/melodramas and all directors I'm extremely found off. All of these kind of represent the softer side of me. Anyway, here they are:

Let the voting begin :)

P.s. I'm also going to post this on Facebook so I might import some votes from there but I would like to ask those who are here on this post list to vote here, and not on facebook (to keep it simple).

So are just too cleaver, Anna.  Votes are whole numerals!  Specially when it does not forward the
Status of the vote.

I would have probably voted for Pabst but of course the vote would be wasted lol.. my vote definitely goes to Dreyer. I had only seen the famous Joan of Arc and it was incredibly beautiful therefore I would love to see more of his work.

Ophüls 4

Sirk ½

Pabst ½

Dreyer 6

Ok, I think we can call it. Dreyer will be our March director. It is
not easy to pick three film as main films because Dreyer made 4 films
that are a must see, The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928), Ordet (1955)
Day of Wrath (1943) and Vampyr (1932). I also have another problem, I
have not seen Master of the House and don't know how it stands up to
Michael or The Parson's Widow. If anyone has seen the 3 then please
advice on which 2 are best.

So here are my suggestions:

Main list:
*The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928)
?*Ordet (1955)
?*Day of Wrath (1943)
*Vampyr (1932)
Gertrud (1964)

And two of these on the main list:
Michael (1924)
The Parson's Widow (1920)
Master of the House (1925)

Extra list:
They Caught the Ferry (1948)
The Bride of Glomdal (1926)
Landsbykirken (1947)
Die Gezeichneten (1922)
Leaves Out of the Book of Satan (1920)
Två människor (1945)
Et slot i et slot: Krogen og Kronborg (1955)
Der var engang (1922)
Storstrømsbroen (1950)
The President (1919)
Kampen mod kræften (1947)
Thorvaldsen (1949)
Mødrehjælpen (1942)

The 5 main films are a certainty, You don't have to change anything
but I just personally love Gertrud more than Day of Wrath and Vampyr.

It looks good. Maybe Vampyr isn't the obvious choice for a star (I would probably say Jeanne d'Arc, Ordet and Gertrud) - haven't seen any of the three early silent films you list, so I don't know which should be main listed.
