What month would this be in then? March? And is someone going to make a watch list? I don't think I'm familiar enough with Angelopoulos' films to make one.

I can make one but first I would like to hear from others here. Is someone against it? David pointed out on Facebook that very few of his films are out on DVD in USA. Would that be a problem? Would people rather like to unite Ken Russell and Angelopoul​ month in April?

Okay, I understand now. Forget for a while how this 'memoriam' system. And it's too late at night right now. I need to get some sleep, maybe then I can function.

But one thing I do know is that we should never mix Russell with Angelopoulos of all people!! The world will implode. I think they both deserve proper months. I think some of Angelopoulos' films that aren't on DVD are on YouTube if you search well enough (sorry that I don't have links). I think it should work out.

Dear Mindy. I try to run this group as democratically as possible, but there comes a time when a decision has to be made and then I call the shots (or Kasper and I, when he is around). You where the only one who objected to a Ken Russell month and also the only one who wanted a Raoul Ruiz month. It was pointed out that it is almost impossible to get a hold of his films, with only 2 or 3 DVDs available. What we could do is have one month for both Raoul Ruiz and Angelopoul, that is if others want that. We have decided on Ken Russell long time ago, including watch list, and there, as democracy demands, majority rules.
