Hello-
As someone who has lived in the Southwest Virginia mountains, I would like to add my voice to the clamor for the Big Stone Gap movie to be made in Big Stone Gap. I recently read the book and while I am sure it is enjoyed by many, as anyone from that area can tell you, the mountain people in the book are so REAL. Small town Virginia life simply cannot be duplicated, in reality or in a movie. The movie simply MUST be made in the area that the book is set in. Anywhere else and it will lose some of the flavor that made me want to see the movie.
