The importance of the filming of Big Stone Gap in the town and areas of Virginia where the story originated should not be overlooked. Readers follow a story that captures the hearts as Adriana Trigiani's story of the people of Big Stone Gap truly has done.  People will travel to Big Stone Gap to "breath and feel" the story  --  tourism and preservation should not be overlooked!!  It truly would be sad for Virginia and the area to miss out on this opportunity!
