Hopefully this post will inspire you to create your own team tally with questions to help your participants develop social connections with each other, create context for upcoming experiences, and begin to explore topics they will be covering in school or upcoming training sessions. You splurged. You bought gorgeous new M!KA microphone arms for the studio. And you got the ones with the tally lights. Good thinking. In the Smartphone era, guests get distracted. You need a way to get their attention and the mic arm tally lights are um, brilliant.
So how exactly do you light those up anyway? With our Mic Tally Gizmo, of course! The 5-pin XLR topside carries the microphone audio and the signal voltage for the tally light. The microphone signal is passed through to a 3-pin XLR connector on the bottom.
A question, maybe a feature request.
I use VMIX (one input is the Atem) and an Atem to switch cameras. It would be nice if I could apply some logic. like only if VMIX Input 1,5,7,15 is in Program show the Atem preview/Programm state to the tally lights else none of the Atem Inputs been shown.
I tried 4 ways, all of which are groups with the appearance field-list (to get on them on the same page). The first two and last one use 'dummy' fields, calculate fields and a note (to display the tally):
Multiple range widgets
You tap the range to 1 to add to the tally
Then tap the centre of the range to 'reset' it to 0.
This works, but isn't even vaguely intuitive. I'm just showing my workings!
All version 6 SAS data sets will be converted to a version 8 SAS data set and written to the same directory where the version 6 data set resided. If the version 6 SAS data was compressed, the version 8 SAS data set will be compressed as well. The new version 8 file will have the same permissions as the version 6 data set. The new version 8 file will also have the same name as before but will have a .sas7bdat extension rather than .ssd04. The old SAS data set will get moved to a temporary location before the conversion and a symbolic link to the file will be placed in the original directory. (A symbolic link is a mechanism for assigning different names to the same file and in this case provides an easy way to access the file
from its original location. In other words, the version 6 file resides in a totally different file system but you can get to it by referring to its symbolic link name in the file's original directory.) We plan to archive and then remove these version 6 files (and their links) on August 5, the same day we remove SAS from GUY.
Why not keep the C original? The reason that you didn't have to pay the reference counting premium in the C version is that the C version relied on the caller to keep any tally of the number of copies of Obj* in use.
