Need some help getting FileNotify2 to work

I have the service installed. I setup a fileNotify2.xml and it is in the same directory as the exe which runs the filenotify2 service. I simply tried using one of your templates just to verify it worked but it appears nothing happens. Does the snapshoot.xml do anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I used the original Filenotify for years but i'm moving to a new server(2008 r2) and it appears the original filenotify no longer works. Would like to use Filenotify2 instead if i can. Thanks!
