Can file magic change permissions of apps?

I can't find options to change permissions.I just want to replace Root Exploer by File Magic.

Sorry, it's not possible with File Magic.

Unfortunately, the app is not much maintained since my other app Tasker
takes up all my
time.

what a pity,file magic is also a good app,some features are even better than Root Explorer and it's totally free without ads.I know it's not easy.Just keep on with the nice work of Tasker.It's really a great app.

Rooted phone?  You can create a Tasker task that uses RunShellCommand to set the file permission.  And then link the Tasker task to FileMagic's Tasker task menu.

you mean chmod?It is not convenient.

Yeah, I was thinking chmod from the shell.
