to File Magic
I know it seems quite astonishing but this behaviour is reproducable
with different video player apps on the samsung galaxy tab (GT-1000).

If the stream is call from file magic via the "open as" dialog and
then the video option is chosen, the video stream will behave odd in
form of stuttering (not in all case from the beginning, jumping in the
video mostly reproduced the stuttering).

If at this point the video stream is canceled, file magic closed and
then lets say the file is called from e.g. astro file manager,
everything works fine just a few seconds later.

I don't know why this is possible, i think the app just calls an
implicit intend and then the player takes over. Error occurs with
Video System Player and with e.g. ES Video Player.

Can you see any way out?

If you just single-click on the file to run the default content handler,
does it still
happen ? (you might have to rename the file to get this to happen)
