FCL and Linux fc-remote not working (stuck) under WSL

Hi *,
I tried running the Linux version of File Commander within the latest
Debian Linux installed under WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) version
2 (as available with Win11) and also tried connecting to the Linux
version of fc-remote installed in this environment. In both cases, the
Linux binary is stuck, not showing or doing anything. I noticed
various glitches also with other Linux GUI applications suggesting
that WSL might have some limitations in this area, but not at this
level (i.e. not that such programs would be completely stuck at their
startup). Anybody having an idea how to fix / avoid this behaviour (or
having a different experience)?
