Hello all,
is there a way in FCW to unblock a file which supposedly came from another computer?
Please see attachment — this is how I can unblock in Windows Explorer. But I would prefer to do it in FCW, and for many files at once. Thanks!

For me Excel issues a warning message when a file from the internet is opened. See the Enable Editing button after the warning

I used to delete this flag running the streams utility using the -d option -see  https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/streams

Hello all,
Oh, that information is stored in alternate streams! Thanks for pointing that out, in this case I went with streams -d <file>
But I've been asking for some awareness of the alternative streams in FC/W for years, but so far with very limited luck.

KT

I'd have a somewhat similar feature request / suggestion: FC/W can already recognize that a particular file is encrypted (using the respective feature of the underlying filesystem) - this situation is shown in the dialog window File Information (Ctrl-I or F9/f/o) on the last line ("Attributes: Encrypted"). However, FC/W doesn't allow changing it at the moment - other attributes may be changed in the File Attributes dialog window (Ctrl-A or F9/f/a), but not this one: I understand that the encryption flag is probably changed using a different API function, but that's equally valid for the displaying in File Information.

BTW, Windows Explorer allows changing this flag either using a context menu by changing the File Ownership to "Personal" (this part is probably relevant only for the Enterprise version of MS Windows), or using the Properties where it's displayed in the Advanced Attributes window together with the flag for compression, which is already supported in File Attributes...

Thanks in advance

Tomas
