Storage of Filamet™

Hello boys and girls it is very important to store Filamet™ with desiccant in a seal-able bag of some kind. Now because Filamet™ is a PLA, and PLA is biodegradable, the sooner you use it once opened the better it is going to be to work with. In it's original packaging it lasts like new as long as not exposed to extreme temperatures. We are working on something now that will make temperatures far less relevant going forward. For now let's say that Filamet™ is going to be best to work with within if it is stored properly under steady room temperature conditions and used within 6 months or so. This will all be a thing of the past shortly as we begin to implement a post manufacturing process that should change all this. So in short, leave Filamet™ sealed until ready to use, then store with desiccant when not in use, and try to store in a place with relatively room temperature. You will have better results if you use your reel within several months.
