I've talked to Johnny Chua tonight, and he will continue establishing the link between Gospel Life Community - Church Without Walls - and FilAmCCC/Census2010 campaign.  We have been doing our weekly "press release" via our church email circuit regarding the Census, and have hosted Marilou Lasam on two separate Sundays as she manned the Questionnaire Assistance Center booth at our church campus.

We continue to do what we volunteered to do for the US2010Census without compensation and despite the fact that our previous requests for the promised funding of census-related materials production were denied for "lack of money", so we were told.

We support the Census, nevertheless.

Tessie,
I will start giving the promo items away as we tell people about the "Census 2010". I will also share these with our Gospel Life Community Church.

Tessie and ALL,

I took the time to count the items delivered;
Blue plastic jumbo clips = 320
Magnet photo frame = 600
Plastic water bottle = 30

note that the TOTAL couunt is not 1,000.

I do not mean to imply any insinuations, but 5% of total gift away shortage is a lot of $ in question?

clarification may be well serve for all to not have an misunderstanding.

Hope you are all doing fine.
Thanks for the delivery made today  but just  to let you know that one of our partners commented that there is no way those promotional materials can total 1000 promo items.
I have advised them to take a picture of items delivered and to report to me of the total items received.
That is the main reason why we keep on insisting for a breakdown of those promo items in order to avoid any problem and let them sign the piece of paper which says delivery totals 1000.
Sorry about this, Edgar and Erik, but I think my main concern is for us to be able to deliver the best message possible to our community with the use of these numerous promo items.
Hopefully this can be corrected as soon as possible.

Hello Edgar,

Here is the list of my Filipino partners who will be delivered the 1000 promo items each .  Each of them would like a breakdown just to make sure that they have a space where to store these items.   I know you are busy so please assign someone to do the breakdown for me so these process can be carried out.

Please advise me also of a delivery date so I can check this myself and advise our partners.

Good day to everyone!

I check with MPT Santarina about the promotional materials and we have not received any.

Keith I am glad you are our team leader, can you call me to coordinate and iron out  logistics.  We need to furnish our agenda with the Southbay Pavilion and produce  a flyers for the event. Please call me as soon as possible, this morning?.

For Southbay Pavilion, they gave us a stage on their food court area from 10 AM to 4 PM.  To attract people to come into the area we would like the opportunity to outreach and promote community assets and resources especially talents. We will be featuring our Filipino Artist Extraordinaire Eliseo Silva, (as our Mayor Dear labeled him from our last Council meeting, advocating the naming of a new streat in Carson, Jose Rizal Avenue ) who is at the moment a visiting professor of Cal State, Dominguez Hills  creating a mural for them with his students and hopefully with the community on the April 18th Census Outreach.   Please join us in featuring talents  and passing out community events and services that the community can take notice.

I wish you well and may God give you his PEACE on the day ahead,
Paz

Tessie,

Does the Census 2010 outreach ASSISTANCE / HELP CENTER to the Filipino Community particularly have Banners that can be put up to let people know where the designated centers will be? It is important to have those put out otherwise people will not necessarily know where it is. People driving around seeing it will also know that there are HELP CENTERS.

Are there banners available already? if not, will Census 2010 pay for these to be made? Let me know if you need my help.
