Hi everybody!

So, great site, enjoying the logging in of information, and it's working (so far)!

However: I make a lot of my own dishes, from tuna salad to chili (veggie) and it can be time-consuming to consistently re-pick all of the major ingredients to add to my daily diary, every time I eat it. I don't necessarily want to pick those equivalents on Figwee, because it's possible that someone used lowfat mayo when I used full-fat or vice-versa.

I'm wondering if there isn't some sort of way of picking the major ingredients once, and linking them together under my favorites to equal My Tuna Salad or My Chili.

It occurs to me that as I type this there might be some interactive way of putting that information publicly on the site once linked -- and then have a way for folks to click through to the recipe. I know that's probably Figwee 2.0, but thought it could be useful. Would make the site even more interactive than it is.

Just a thought,
Kitt

Hi Kitt,

These are wonderful ideas, thank you. We spent a little time designing
a composite food mechanism that might do what you are looking for, but
it didn't make the cut for the first version of Figwee. Hopefully we
can add it soon.

I really like the interactive sharing concept, and this is something
that have not given much thought. I'll put it on our radar and see
what we can come up with going forward.

Really appreciate the suggestions; please keep them coming.

Best,

-Jeff
