Hi Everyone,

Just came across this great site, while looking for a calorie
counter. Glad I did. Joined today and looking forward to the
wonderful and exciting changes this will help me to make. I do have a
question for anyone who could answer. Do you need to manually
subtract activity calories from daily food calorie used, in order to
add more calories to your food diary? Or is it only there to monitor
calories lost? Thx.

Hi,

The way Figwee is configured by default is as follows:

Your target number of calories for the day is derived from the goals
and information entered in your settings page.
The number of calories "left to eat" are reduced by things you enter
in the food diary, and increased by things you enter into your
activity log.
In this way, Figwee manages the daily target for calories based on
your exploits for the day.

You can, however, turn this off by setting a fixed calorie goal. If
you tell Figwee your goal is to eat 1500 calories a day, then only the
food you eat is deducted.

I hope this helps. Thank you for trying Figwee!

-John
