Hi,

Thanks to all of you that have already adopted the Figgipad, batch one has now been all shipped out,to all of you that have yet to, fear not as I have Batch two ready to be sent out! I can guarantee rubber feet again for this batch too.

Steve Smith has kindly provided a working PCB design you can get the files from https://sites.google.com/site/figgipad/the-pcb

At the present time I do not have any PCBs to provide with our kit, you are welcome to use the files to make a PCB or have one made yourself, I have looked at ways of getting these made cheaply, but I cannot take the financial outlay to get them made in the quantity to get them at a good price point. It really is a case of the flesh is willing but the wallet is less so.

So please use all the information on the site and the forum to make your interface, the kit that you can order is with strip or proto board, the components can be re soldered to a pcb.

We have even considered a kick starter so that you all could independently ( of the Kit) pledge to buy a board and when we hit 20 or so they could be purchased at the price to make that amount plus shipping.

Their rules are somewhat ambiguous about this concept.

To get a kit from me follow the directions  at https://sites.google.com/site/figgipad/get-a-kit

so there you have it, I hope we can bring you more kits in the future too.

Regards

Carl.
