Where did you get your figkeys from? I'm after one myself!

Cheers,

Jon

Hello !

I already had it from ages back, just rediscovered it all after 2 house moves. Julian might still have a few about !? No idea.

I'm however missing the AMIC chip, which now seems to be discontined.

Have found some 8mbit ones, wonder if they'll be ok

Hi Thanks for that, I'll try contacting Julian, or it might be possible to lash something up on stripboard I guess.

Hi folks,

I've been kindly given about 15 to 20 FIGkeys PCBs. It looks like I'm going to have to get my finger out; get the rest of the components and assemble some kits for people, I already have more than a couple of orders.

You should have had a Flash chip with any kind of FIGnition kit. Did you lose it? There is support for at least one kind of 8 Mbit AMIC flash chip. It must be a 3.3V type, not the one that tops out at 2.7V.

Also, I keep forgetting to say - well done for building the FIGnition, that's really cool!

Hello old chap,

I had two FIGs, my first one got squiged in a box and broke two pins of its AMIC, so I think I robbed the one out of the kit Ive just assembled, sadly, the first fig is nowhere to be found ( two house moves ) , will have a look at that link I posted to check the voltages.

Are these still the original board layout which requires the keyboard socket be canted?

From the datasheet linked on the RS product page: "2.7 to 3.6V Single Supply Voltage"
