For the Love of Art: A Valentine’s Day Networking Event
On February 12, 3rd Ward and Fractured Atlas are bringing together artists from all over New York City to have some drinks and connect with each other to celebrate everybody’s favorite Hallmark holiday: Valentine’s Day. And you’re invited!
While there won’t be any pink frilly things or heart-shaped boxes of chocolate, you’ll be able to network with amazing creative organizations (3rd Ward, Fractured Atlas, Kickstarter, Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and more) while enjoying snacks and music. Plus hop in the photo booth and snap your own photo with The Self Portrait Project! We’ll spend the first hour breaking out into groups to discuss a wide-range of topics relating to being an artist or running an arts organization.

Meetup // The UX Lifecycle: From Strategy to Execution and Beyond
Join NYC UX Acrobatics for its first ever meetup! This rolling conversation will be about the essential components of user experience design and the different methodologies used at each stage in the process.
From concept to prototype to experience design, successfully aligning the user’s needs with business objectives and stakeholder goals, dramatically impacts how successful a project will be. By examining the different components of the user experience design process we gain both tactical focus and strategic insights that go into choosing the right methodologies and processes needed to create the products people love to use and talk about.
