According to the game, she's actually Terry Bogard,
the male main character of the franchise transformed into a
woman to fit into the all female cast of Fatal
Fury: Heroines.
There
is a reason, revealed in story mode, why the cast is wearing
skimpy, revealing costumes...
Guess they'll have to change his nickname from Buster Wolf to
Busty Wolf. Certain advantages in Fight! probably aren't
applicable to this game. :D
First of all, I am frustrated by this game in general, only because I am interested in all fighting games and I'm not sure I can adequately respond to the sideways glances of my wife and sons in getting this one.
Second, I am not at all bothered by a female Terry character. BUT I AM bothered by them insisting that it actually is the real Terry. I don't think any story reason is going to convince me otherwise of this.
Third, SNK characters are probably my fave characters in any series and Terry is my favorite among those. Thus, my difficulties.
I have no problem then with gender swap shenanigans, but they could still do some annoying stuff with the story.
Then again, maybe I'm putting WAY too much on this story in the first place...

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure why I turned Blue Mary and Mai into a DBZ fusion, but I somehow did o_OAnd at least they're also working on a new Samurai Shodown, so it's not all cringe.

Hi Kim.
The Element that you need to do "chip damage" is Always Does Damage.
In order to Power Up and make other moves to have the Always Does Damage, you have some options:
Taunt (Element Addition): it will allow to use the Always Does Damage on the next Special Move.
Buff: with this element you can add Always Does Damage to all special Moves if you have enough Elements.
You will need to add a custom Element for allowing those to work with Basic Moves, but that's it.
