Learn unique, practical, and devastating defense with breathing,
continuity, economy of motion, and unpredictable movement. Conquer
your own stiffness, vulnerability, and fear!
Vladimir Vasiliev is one of the few men in the world who has mastered
the lost secrets of SYSTEMA – the fighting system of the ancient
Russian warriors –and applied them in numerous battles and special
operations with the Spetsnaz, the elite Russian Special Forces. He
spent 10 years as a Spetsnaz operative, running multiple high-risk
missions, including deep reconnaissance and POW recoveries behind
enemy lines, as part of a covert Special Operations Unit (SOU).
Vladimir also served as trainer, teaching this astonishing Russian
fighting system to other Spetsnaz agents, SWAT teams, paratroopers,
KGB, law enforcement agents, and elite bodyguards. Born in Russia,
Vladimir studied at Moscow Military Institute and received intense
training from the legendary Colonel Mikhail Ryabko, founder and chief
instructor of Systema. In 1990, Vladimir moved to Canada, where he
founded the first school of Russian Martial Art outside of Russia –
Systema Headquarters. He has since personally trained and certified
well over 300 qualified Russian Martial Art instructors and schools
worldwide, and has developed an award-winning instructional film
collection.
