On October, 14th of 2008 we sent the following email to the MPAA.
************************************************************************
We are making a documentary on the gender biased media and the MPAA is
at the top of our list. We are hoping you will give a response to our
email. You can call
707-263-6921 and leave a voice mail message, or
email
noelt...@live.com, or send a reply to P.O. Box 892 Lakeport
CA, 95453. We will be putting this email sent to you in the
documentary.
We have compiled a list of nearly 2000 movies that have been made
since 1966 when the MPAA was first formed by the major six movie
studios to advance their business interests in movie studios, by
policing themselves. We sent an email to the CEO of the MPAA, Dan
Glickman and also to the head of the Classification and Rating
Administration, Joan Graves, in regards to the obvious gender biased
skewing of male genitalia to female genitalia in movies. When we say
genitalia, we are referring to the visible sex organ, be it a penis or
vulva, not pubic hair or merkin.
In the last 42 years since the MPAA has been created, the amount of
movies that have been passed containing visual male genitalia are as
follows: 3 - G rated; 33 - PG rated; 38 - PG13; and 753 - R rated,
most of these movies are all legitimate movies. In contrast, there are
171 movies the MPAA rated R that show vulva, most of which are soft
core porn movies. There are no G, PG, or PG13 movies that show a
vulva. That is roughly 5 male genitalia to every 1 female genitalia.
We are still tallying the gender biased affect at the movie theaters,
but we are confident that further gathering of the data will prove
that the ratio of male genitalia to female genitalia will be even
greater, as if a quintuple standard was not strong enough evidence of
gender bias.
**********************************************************************
We sent them the complete movie database backing up our numbers, as
well, and asked this question:
**********************************************************************
Why is it the media is only concerned with not offending viewers who
disapprove of female nudity, but they are in no way concerned with
offending viewers who disapprove of male nudity?"
NOTE: The complete movie database, as rated by the MPAA, is included
below.
**********************************************************************
To date the MPAA has not responded. Perhaps they believe we are just
making threats to them, in fact no threat is being made. We really are
making a documentary on the gender biased media, we have been for
about one year now. This coming month it will be made available to the
public.
The documentary will be released to our youtube account and can be
found at our website, Fight-the-MPAA.com, that has been revised to
make it more professional.
Also in the news of the gender biased media,
On Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, CBS aired a showing of "Survivor: Gabon"
in which a contestant known as Marcus had an alleged wardrobe
malfunction which allowed his penis to become visible. The penis was
in no way censored by CBS.
The following quoted material is the email sent to CBS to the
attention of Ray Faiola, CBS Audiences Services.
**********************************************************************
"On Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, CBS aired a showing of "Survivor: Gabon"
in which a contestant known as Marcus had an alleged wardrobe
malfunction which allowed his penis to become visible. The penis was
in no way censored by CBS.
The uncensored penis in "Survivor: Gabon" is in no way new news as the
media has done this numerous times in the past, but instead of being
"supposedly unintentional", as in "Survivor: Gabon", it was obviously
intended, as were the following examples:
* Superman (1978), aired often on public TV, showed a prepubescent
boy's full frontal nudity, no censor.
* Never Cry Wolf (1983), also aired on public TV, showed full
frontal nudity of a grown man's genitalia.
* In the mid 80's I can recall watching a news report on prison
guards who went to work one day totally nude. The censor patch was
applied poorly and at most times did absolutely no good what-so-ever.
* Not to mention the countless documentaries made about foreign
cultures, in which nudity is considered acceptable for airing as it
depicts the culture being studied, but it is always a penis we are
being shown in these documentaries, not a vulva.
Why is it that censorship only works in regards to female nudity and
not male nudity?
Why is it the media is only concerned with not offending viewers who
disapprove of female nudity, but they are in no way concerned with
offending viewers who disapprove of male nudity?
Please do not site the Janet Jackson Super Bowl Incident, as we see
male's nipples on television day-in and day-out. A female nipple is in
no way equivalent to male genitalia."
**********************************************************************
We also sent the above email to the Chairman of the FCC, Kevin J.
Martin, with these additional questions:
**********************************************************************
" 1) Will the FCC set an example by slapping CBS with a fine much
greater than that of the Janet Jackson Super Bowl Incident or will the
FCC show themselves to be gender biased by making a much weaker fine
for this "incident", there by encouraging CBS to do this kind of thing
again and again?
2) Please note what the fines are for the following:
* A female's nipple
* A male's nipple
* A vulva
* A penis
3) If the fines are held to different standards in regards to male
nudity vs. female nudity, could you please explain why?"
**********************************************************************
So far CBS and The FCC have not responded to our questions.
We also sent all of the above information to the ACLU and the THE FREE
SPEECH COALITION, once again, no response from either organization.
So do you think we stopped there? Nope. We sent the following email to
Nancy Grace of Headline News Prime.
**********************************************************************
"I just wanted to ask if Nancy Grace has covered or will cover the
story in regards to "Survivor: Gabon" which aired on CBS Sept. 25,
2008? In this episode, a contestant known as Marcus has an alleged
wardrobe malfunction which allowed his penis to become visible. The
penis was in no way censored by CBS. It's obvious to any rational
person that they elected not to censor it.
If you are going to air or have aired a story on this, please contact
us and tell us what times it will air.
In the past Nancy Grace did weeks of coverage on female celebrities
who were flashing their genitalia, i.e. Britney Spears, Paris Hilton,
Lindsay Lohan. Nancy Grace even did a segment about whether Britney,
Paris, and Lindsay were hurting the feminist movement, even though
they in no way describe themselves as feminists.
We are making a documentary on the gender biased media. We have
collected data for more then one year now, we have more then enough
evidence to prove our point.
A female nipple is in
no way equivalent to male genitalia.
We will be including this email to you in our documentary, whether you
respond to us or not."
**********************************************************************
So Far Nancy has not responded.
And it doesn't stop there either. We will be sending a copy of this
message to HBO to see what they think of it. My bet is that they will
not answer it as they will feel that lovers of the female form,
specifically referring to the vulva, are not important to their
demographics.
Let's just say, we have also gathered evidence that will prove that
the vulva is the highest sought after sexual organ, it is not the
penis or breasts.
Obviously, however, HBO doesn't know this as they produce shows like
"OZ", "Tell Me You Love Me", and "Private Dicks", that focus intently
on penis. They have no shows that focus intently on vulva. Even the
series "Real Sex" has featured closeups of the penis as in "Dick
Tricks", in which the camera stays fixed on the penis for a prolonged
period of time. "Ladies Night" shows black men at a strip club who oil
themselves up, get erections, and then slide around on the stage with
their erect penis highly visible all the while they slide around on
stage. Once again we are here to ask HBO:
"Why is it the media is only concerned with not offending viewers who
disapprove of female nudity, but they are in no way concerned with
offending viewers who disapprove of male nudity?"
One last thing, we have produced an original music video we will
release on this subject next month. Be sure to tune in to our youtube
channel which can be found at our website,

support the cause by viewing!
