 Hi all,

Got a new API key and would like to integrate it into the new pyopenstates package, as I did for the old sunlight labs package.

Can I do the same thing as the old package where I just write in 'API_KEY = ...' in a config file? Granted, I don't see a config file. I'm really hoping I can name a new API_KEY variable in the pyopenstates.py file.

If not, can I add it to the API_ROOT?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Sean

Hey-

There's an issue opened for this here: https://github.com/openstates/pyopenstates/issues/4

If you're OK modifying the file that'd probably be the most straightforward, we'll make sure we get an official method into a 1.1 release ASAP

Thanks James, I followed your changes in github and will integrate that process you've come up with. Hopefully later today
