With a dismissive wave of hand
As poor folks' food

My origins are humble
But like me the Truffle also comes from the ground.
I'm the butt of jokes, derided,
Likened to lazy sit-abouts—"couch potatoes."
My skin devoured with beer by potbellied men of no distinction.

So I issue a call to you, many-eyed brethren
Fellow discontents and maltreated Amer-potatoes
to migrate to Russia
where, blended together, we will be appreciated
in fine-aged
vodka.

How long have we've been sat on?

With people's stinky buts and their food that they spill on us.

 

My origins come from fany king chairs to uncofortable ugly plastic ones.

I'm the butt of jokes litterally. I GET ON! Also my skin gets scratched and wrote on.

So I demand to you dirty people not to sit on us unless you are clean. I also demand cussions.

The Trash Can Manifesto!

How long has our kind have been disrespected and brought down by humans?

Everyday, trash and junk of all kinds have been shoved carlesly into us. We are at the very bottom of pleasant things, people are even disgusted by us! I am made of some good materials to just get filled with junk everyday. Sometimes you human beings forget to take me out and i have to hold your filth for more than 3 weeks! We hold all of the waste that you don't want and yet, you still don't respect us enough. I demand more respect and thought of when you throw away your junk. I also hope that one day we can be more than just a place to hold junk, for example, we can be huge flower pots.

    How long has our kind been used for foolish and eveilish things? We have been cut up, chopped down, and treated like we are just a waist of nature. Like being used for little kids work, with sticky fingers and careles little boys and girls that write on us for fun. Then older kids press so hard on us that our skin recieves black marks all over it.

   When is this going  to stop! Its been to long. What happened to writing on rocks and using other plants and species to write on? I thought men called us Gods work of art?

   We should be treated as precious and the best things on the planet. We are trees!

                       How long have people cleaned there butts on us? 

             I wish I was made out of paper that people use to write and draw.

 

        My origins are humble But like the tree i come out of the ground.

 People use me too much every day because they eat a lot and take it out

  on me ,and the toilet. I am white at first but than i ture brown at the end.

                          I dont know why they use me but I get used to

                                                         it.

Why do we have to be like accecories to stinky feet?

They just use us temporaly,

by the end of a tiring day,

they throw us away in a dark room!

 

Is their day really so tiring?

I have to carry all their weight for everything,

like worries soaked over you.

Feet could be your friends for awhile,

but overtime they wore you out!

 

They use us as exuses and blame it on us saying,

" I can't run with these shoes, it's my shoes not me!"

I call to all of you, ignore those feet and be yourself and be free.

  I am tired of being slam all the time,and all sorts of kids with there dirty hands touch me all the time.Us doors have to put up with all of this disrespect ,some times i wish i was never a door.Can people aleast wash there hands before they touch me.I bet they like to be clean,and so do we.I know i am being a little harsh but just for a little respect.Now those kids are so dirty they use the rest room,and eat chips it is so nasty.so thank you for hearing my word,but once angain this is THE DOOR MANIFESTO thank you.

The Tree Manifesto

How long has it been since I've had a friend? I used to be happy, funloving, and happy-go-lucky. I miss those days, my best friend grew up and had her own life. I stand here hoping she'll come visit me, but she never does. I stand here hoping somebody will come by and sit under my shade, but they never do.

 I'm here for the winter, summer, fall, and spring. All four seasons...., I need a friend. My leaves fall, change colors, and sprout. I look different and beautiful, but I feel the same and lonely. I need a friend to talk to, to laugh with, and to cry with. I dont want my life to go by without another happy day in my life.

So i speak to anyone who will listen. I need a friend and nothing more. I could be the ugliest tree in the whole world, but I wouldn't care beacuse at least I would have had a friend. Here me out, dont turn away from me , a friend is all I need.

My voice is small and feeble

for if I shout in anger, your homes will be destroyed

I care for creatures that walk and live upon me

They know that my life is a certian balance

So why, do one species treat me so cruely againist me

the very home that they live on

 

Humans, they call themseveles the most intelligent on the planet

Haha, I laugh in their pride,

for if so intelligent, they do not see the pain they cause.

Their vehicles bring emissions into the air

and the polar ice caps are melting

the Bears of the Polar North

are losing their homes

Which I myself have created.

 

I create things to make every lifes better,

Alas, you seem not to care.

As I wallow in my self-pity, tearstained,

hurt. I wonder can the human race save itself

from it's own drive to extiction.

 

And so I plead in my weak voice

Being poisened by naysayers

I need help, life is a perfect circular balence

Everyday humans do something bad

The people on Earth are littering and polluting

What did i do to deserve this kind of punishment?

I have many good things for you 

All you have to do is use it the right way

You should not throw trash on the ground

There are trashcans everywhere you go

If you see trash,then you can pick it up and throw it in a trashcan yourself

Do not throw trash in the oceans 

Keep the oceans clean

The fishes and underwater creatures breath in water 

You are messing up their environment killing them 

I know you don't want to be like that 

Do the right thing, Stop pollution!

Humans are the one causing this to happen 

There is pollution in there air and litter everywhere!

Why should you be living when you are killing others?

Not only animals

Also the trees and plants

You need those to survive! They give you the oxygen to breathe

Everyone will have a better life when all this nonsense stops

You can start by using a bike or walk to places that are close to you

Will you still exist if this nonsense goes on?

Surviving on your on can be really hard 

Save the World and you save yourself

The Tree Manifesto

 

I am a tree trying to grow strong and give oxeygen to all living things. But how could I do that when everyday I live in fear of getting chopped down for a little kids scribble paper? I stand here everyday through every seaon for nothing. Winter is the worst because i am so cold, summer is too hot and my trunk gets tanned,and fall is the worst becase its bad enough that my leaves fall off on thier own but kids try to shake em off too. But awwww... Spring is the best because i feel the nice breeze againts my nice green leaves and i usually grow a couple of inches. It would be nice to relax and live in a tropical rainforest for no one but the animals to acompany me.

       how came some people do not flush the urinal after they are done using it? I dont like when they use alot of water. also when they put paper in my mouth and into my stomach. why do they stand on me when i am sleeping. why can i just be used the right way for ones. I want them to treat me the right way like a normal urinal.also i want to be treated like other people will be treated.

How long have we been tortured with the smell

of those dirty diapers and food that has just got

rotten?

 Well i just had enough!

Here i am in front of a house, just

thinking of when something

gross is going to be thrown inside

of me.

I hate being a trash can, i just satnd here

through, Summer, Winter, Fall, and Spring

frreezing and having through suffer sun tans.

Why couldnt i been a yard wast trash can, i would

at least smell like nature not like

used diapers or food that has gone bad.

The worst thing about begin a trash can is that

all around the world

people are always saying" whats that smell,

someone should clean

up that trash can, or get a new one".

I am tired of begin just taught as

that smelly thing in the

corner!

I want to be know as

something that dosent smell so disgusting,

like grass or flowers not like toilet paper.

So if you are tired of felling that way, come and fall me

to a better place.

I am sick and tired of always being transferred from place to place

The sewer, water pipes, sink, and especially people's mouth

 

Don't get me wrong,

I love that I am a natural resource and an important element of the Earth

 

But, I want to be able to travel around the world

 and go to places that are unimaginable

I would love to go to Niagara Falls, Yellowstone Park, or the Grand Canyon

 

I want to be a part of something that makes a whole

Like, be the the waterfall that tourists from around the world want to come and see

 

I want to be heard, noticed, and constantly be talked about

 

So I ask my fellow specks of water

Do you want to be stuck in those nasty pipes

       why are we caves regarded unuseful? Are we that ugly and terrifiying. I just want to be a home for someone or something.
I want to be considered pleasant, but not just from my owners(animals), but from humans . I have tooken thousands of years to construct myself just to be disrespected and runied in seconds. Since when did we become transparent if we were your ancestors home, and  maybe even yours if you would see it. We are stronger and safer than your house, we won't burn that esay.

Us caves  are here lonely, dark,  and dull.

But it doesn't have to be that way.
