Project, Revival of Rivers of Pune

Dear All,

About 30 odd volunteers are working on revival of rivers of Pune. I am writing this email to you since I am one of the volunteers. The mission started about 2 years ago. As an awareness campaign to get connected to the river, we are celebrating "World River Day"a pioneering event in India. World river day falls on last Sunday of September every yearr, which is Anant Chaturdashi day this year. So we decided to start on 2nd October, another auspicious day for us all Indians. River festival "Muthai" will be celebrated in the week from 2nd - 8th October.

Purpose for writing this email to you is:

1. Do participate in any activity you can. All the activities mentioned in the flyer are open for all.
2. You can become a volunteer of Jeevitnadi Initiative.
3. Please share this information to your whatsapp groups, friends, relatives and ask them to attend too.
4. You can also contribute to event by funding as little as amount from Rs. 100/- since this is a total voluntary movement, we are not supported. The money can be transferred to Ecological Society, which is a NGO working in the field of environment.

If you need any clarification, do contact me. Reviving the rivers must become a Peoples movement and participation by all will make it happen.
