Oneway to limit who can interact with the app is by creating a site specifically to develop and test your apps, limit the users on that site, and installing the app only on that site. You can create a test site by following the steps in Set up a test site. I hope this could be a suitable workaround for you.
I bought Sound Forge 10 many years ago and used it on my previous computer as recently as about a month ago. I recently got a new computer with Windows 11 and can't install SF10 on it. I get passed all of the questions (I think) and then I get a message that says "Download failed. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet and try again.". I am clearly connected to the internet. I have my antivirus, firewall, vpn and adblocker all turned off.
If temporarily disabling anti-virus apps does not work with Magix, you could try downloading SF-10 from the SCS (Sony) archive which has all the SCS SF versions, builds, ect..
I think the final version of SF Pro 10 (d) was build 507. If you need the iZotope's Direct X Mastering Suite II installer which was included with SFP-10, PM me. You will still need iZ's unique activation code though. The NR-2.0 noise reduction suite that as also incldued is in the archive as well if it is not installed it by default w/ SFP-10. You can also of the get a discount with your SF-10 serial if wish to upgrade to SF-15.
I have the same problem as David-Royal.on my new computer. cant install on windows 11, turned of all firewalls but nothings helps. I also tried SF pro 10 build 507 from link above but also failed internet connection.
1) check that you are running the latest installer available for it (it's in your Magix User Account)...but in the download manager, make sure to UNCHECK the iZotope Master and Repair Suite...the installer for that is outdated, as that plugin has long been discontinued and is unsupported. This will block the installation of SF, so you should ONLY check the box to install Sound Forge (in both Pro and Audio Studio 10).
2) the other thing is to make sure you've enabled all of the older versions of Microsoft .NET Framework. You can check this by going to your windows file explorer and clicking Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features On or Off, then make sure that the box labeled '.NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) is checked, and then restart your computer. This should fix the problem.
So recently I bought Minecraft and decided to add some mods. so when I went to install Minecraft forge, it would not work. I try to install it but nothing happens. can someone please help me understand either what I'm doing wrong or what is going wrong with the installation.
Curse/Overwolf: If you are using the Curse Launcher, their configurations break Forge's log settings, fortunately there is an easier workaround than I originally thought, this works even with Curse's installation of the Minecraft launcher as long as it is not launched THROUGH Twitch:
When you have an issue with your mod the most helpful thing you can do when asking for help is to provide your code to those helping you. The most convenient way to do this is via GitHub or another source control hub.
When setting up a GitHub Repo it might seem easy to just upload everything, however this method has the potential for mistakes that could lead to trouble later on, it is recommended to use a Git client or to get comfortable with the Git command line. The following instructions will use the Git Command Line and as such they assume you already have it installed and that you have created a repository.
well when you go to Minecraft forge I press the "installer" button for the 1.14.3 version. it saves to my downloads but after that I have tried to open it. it opens with internet explorer and asks me if I want to open it or save it. I have tried doing both but nothing really happens
so I did not know what windows command prompt was either, so I looked it up and did what they said and typed java-version and I got the first picture, but then I realized I typed it in wrong and retyped it and got the 2nd picture
dropbox link; modpack.zip?dl=0
I've never made a modpack and im not too tech savy but i thought i'd make one for fun for friends and i but i keep getting an error each time i join saying "forge isn't installed". I've tried changing the name to "modpack" and still nothing. help?
Without checking I am just going to assume that you used the latest forge version and renamed the universal file. Forge made changes to newer versions, which includes the latest versions for 1.12.2, where you have to instead download the installer and rename that to modpack.jar. Lots of users have been having this issue recently as forge seems to have "snuck" these changes into the latest 1.12.2 builds, previously they were only for 1.13+, hence why any guide you may have followed did not include this newer info.
I know this may be 3 months later but do you mean rename the installer and add that to the bin file or rename it modpack.jar and then install it into the bin? (Edit): I am trying to do this with 1.16.3.... sooo is it different?
In addition to the using the forge installer.jar, double check to make sure the zip file download definitely has the bin/ config/ and mods/ folders at the root of the archive. Some tools may put the contents in a folder of the same name as zip file.
You can install Node.js using the macOS installer, however this results inpermission errors when working with the Forge CLI. If you must use the installer, you'll need to enable unsafe permissions to use the Forge global package wheninstalling Node.js using this method.
Do not use sudo or root user when running forge. Doing so may cause issues with file permissions and ownership, potentially leading Forge CLI not functioning properly when run by a non-privileged user.
Answering Yes will allow Forge to collect data about your app's deployments and installations(including error data). This, in turn, helps us monitor Forge's overall performance and reliability. The collected data also helps us make better decisions on improving Forge's feature set and performance.
The Forge CLI uses your operating system's keychain to securely store your login details.Any command after forge login that requires authentication will read your credentialsfrom the keychain. When this occurs, your keychain may prompt you for access; approve it to allow theCLI to run the command.
If a keychain isn't available, you can store your login email and token through the environment variables FORGE_EMAIL and FORGE_API_TOKEN, respectively. In continuous integration environments, you can store these environment variables as secrets for your builds. For more information, read our tutorial on setting up continuous delivery for Forge apps.
Your statement is partly correct, there is no special permission to install a component from the Forge, but in an enterprise license, you need Change and Deploy rights to publish. And after you download something from the Forge it is being published automatically.
This works because conda accepts multiple -c arguments, given priority according to order (first is highest, last is lowest).1 The conda-forge:: overrides the priority and only looks for python-graphviz on the conda-forge channel.
Adding the channel to the install command makes that channel the highest priority channel. If you add the conda-forge channel to the end of your configuration and do not specify it in the install command you will get dependencies from the first channel that matches them.
First you download and run your 'regular Minecraft' at least once. This ensures that your .minecraft folder has been made (if you don't know what that folder means, it's the folder where the game places most of its essential game files).
Since you've now successfully installed forge you can start to install some of the mods. If you download a mod it usually comes in either a .Zip, .Rar or something like that. You don't need to extract this. Just keep it as it is.
Now proceed to the .minecraft/mods folder (create it if it doesn't exist) and simply put your zipped/rarred/downloaded file there. (once again don't extract it just place it there as you downloaded it.)
