Yes, we do establish priority, value, and divide people. That's why
we distinguish between putting your hand on a strange woman and
raping her. That's why we distinguish between blocking a supermarket

between someone walking up to you and punching you on the shoulder
and putting a bullet in your brain.
There is a difference, and we do identify it.

Your objection seems to be, the law isn't perfect, so we shouldn't
have a law at all.

You assume a woman who is raped is more offended than a woman who get
squirted with a hose.
You give all people of all races the same protections. If you need to
extend it to head size, you amend the law. If you need to extend it
to hair color, you amend the law.
I suppose you think there should be no distinction between grand
larceny and petty larceny. Well, maybe there should, maybe there
shouldn't. But, since the same standards apply to all people, it
isn't automatically a constitutional failure.

Yes, you are missing something, you are missing the entire question
as you delve off into diversions. Esp since nobody said either one
would be punished. How many times has the term 'poverty pimp' been
used here and I either argued it or let it pass without launching an
attack on the character of the person using it? It seems those who
object to Oreo are the ones who are more sensitive. Could that be
because they recognize that the term is true, and they are afraid
they are risking the public revelation of that fact?
