modem problems and questions

Hi!
I have a USR sporster voice/fax/data 33.6 kb/s modem and have a few
questions;

1) What are the exact DUN settings that I should be using for optimal
modem preformance
2) under extra settings what commands can I use to improve preformance
(i know of S12=0)
3) Is there any way to get it to tell me the exact conection speed to
the internet (sometimes it says 115 000 bps and since i do not have isdn
I know this cannt be)
4) Are there any new drivers or addons etc that I should be getting (I
don't mean X2, I mean like .dll files or chips etc)
5) My modem does suppor voice but I have never gotton it work at all, I
notice spots on my computer for the mic and speakers to be pluged into
the modem but no matter how I do it it just will not work, so in effect
the voice part of my modem is useless. I once heard that I needed a
driver, Can any shed any light on this anoyance?
