toshiba password reset with dongle

Hi there,

I've found a wiring scheme of a 'dongle' to reset a Toshiba password.
On my notebook however it doesn't seem to work. Is there a special way
to use such a device? If you have an other solution please let me know!

I know another method, but I think it's kinda late. In the User Guide, it
details instructions on how to make a password diskette for forgotten
passwords.

Your best bet is a repair center.

I forgot my password last month, but luckily with A LOT of trial and error I
figured it out.

I'd rather suspect that your "wiring scheme" was a hoax.
