sin toomuch, недокументированная команда ;)

Команда toomuch утилиты sin безусловно не нова, но я о ней узнал только
сегодня, а потому спешу поделиться. Работает в QNX 4. Работает ли в 6 -- не
знаю, но думаю, что да, если только какой-нить строгий начальник отдела
программирования не заметил её и не приказал удалить. ;) Всем рекомендую
попробовать. Hа вопрос для начала можно скромно ответить "n", а потом, осмелев,
нагло брякнуть "Y" -- ничего страшного не произойдёт (по крайней мере в 4, в
других версиях на всякий случай можно перейти в заведомо пустой каталог ;). Hу
вот и всё, собственно. Да, забыл сказать, что сокращения не рулят, так что
вводить надо полностью "sin toomuch", что-то типа "sin to" не пройдёт.
Интересные всё-таки бывают команды! Как говорится, век живи -- век учись! ;))

Repair broken files (by phearbear)
If you happend to remove/modify a file you needed that excisted in any
package you downloaded from a repository, you can restore the file with
the command pkgctl -r /usr/path/to/the/broken/file

Under you preferences you can change alot of things, you can, among
other things add boxes to be displayed on the right-side of the QNXStart
main page. try them!

Cool pterm prompt (by maxima)
If you want a cool command line prompt while using pterm then add this
to the end of your /etc/profile file... IDname=$(id |cut -d"(" -f2 |cut
-d")" -f1) PS1="---->$IDname@$(uname -n)-\$PWD$(echo "\n-->")" export
PS1 The above will show your user-id and the current directory.

One more pidin easter egg (by emuis)
This actually stems waaay back to QNX2. If anyone recalls, the equvalent
of pidin under QNX2 was tsk. Try typing "tsk tsk" at a QNX2 prompt. Then
under QNX4 "sin tsk", then under RTP "pidin tsk".

cursor color! (by phearbear)
You are able to change the cursor color in Photon by editing your
~($HOME)/.ph/wm/wm.cfg And adding a line cursor_color = 0x00FFE0
(0x?????? == color code) under the [wm_config] section.

mounting ISO Images (by popper)
ever been in the position of wanting to mount that ISO CD image sat on
your windows partiton in RTP rather than write it to your cd writer
first ?. i was the other day, so heres how- place the CD ISO Image
somewere on a root dir (c-\\ d-\\ wereever-\\) i say this as i had one
in d-\\!backups/!RTP/!updates/RTP.ISO and it seems the RTP FS doesnt
like something about the path perhaps its the first ! char, anyone know
?. anyway use this in an RTP shell- mount -t
/fs/hd0-dos-3/thisISOimage.iso /UsethisNameASMount ^^^^^^^^ being the
harddrive were your iso is stored.

If you need to run some programs everytime you boot your computer, just
add the commands in the /etc/rc.d/rc.local file, *note, you may need to
create this file* and add one command at each line. after adding your
commands you need to make the file executable, you can do this by
running chmod a+x /etc/rc.d/rc.local Good luck
