Oh, it's a long story. :)
There was an abbreviation of the phrase "As Far As I Remember"
first - AFAIR. It was used in net chats and forums.
And then Russian people who did't want to use English slang
abbreviation became to use their own, Russian one - EMNIP.
It means "Esli Mne Ne Izmenyaet Pamyat'"

factory is located here.

10-30 years? Very long... In our city the new (Yunusobad) metro way have been
being built for about 10 years. And now just 5 station work. The rest are under
building. :(

Well, let's wait and see... Currently, there are some new metro stations
under construction, but Moscow is much more (and important for metro's
constructors) than Mytischy :)

Hehe, I'm envious of your weather. I like spring and summer much more...
(See the last team? ;)) No heavy dresses, no nasmork, the sun is shining,
green trees are all around... sometimes a rain... near Mytischy, here's
'Losiniy Ostrov' national park, the last 2001 spring-summer we've spent
there was wonderful... exciting... like no one in life before...

to say:"There appeared an abbreviation..."

A Rus abbreviation should be written in Cyrillic, methinks. If you use
Latin, you gotta use the Latin-based analogs....
