Im planning to buy a good 3D card, and with the amount of money left, Im
still able to upgrade my CPU(its currently a P200L Cyrix). I only have
enough money to buy the following CPUs(including motherboard). I used my
com mainly(probably only) for gaming. Plays quite a few 3D games as
well. Which CPU should I buy? Remember I have enough money to buy a good
3D card(probably Creative Riva TnT 16MB AGP)....so which CPU will work
well with it?

AMD K6-2/3D 400 CPU
Pentium II 333 w/512 Cache/ECC
Pentium II 400 Celeron 128K Cache

Please advice. Thanks!

Easily the winner. But I'd check some real-world benchmarks first.

You will probably have to change your RAM as well if you change motherboard.
Have you factored that (maybe case too) into your plans?

I d go for a Celeron 300a and overclock it to 450 mhz

Cheaper and gives you very good performance.

You obviously don't check up on hardware sites like tomshardware.com. His new
review of chips shows the AMD totally blown out of the water by the celeron
400. We will not even bring up the overclocked 450A. Check it out yourself at
