I'm trying to get a 933Mhz P-3 to work on this board, but can't seem to get
it to run above 700MHz (7 X100)

I'm wondering if it's the RAM (PC-100), PCI/AGP incompatability at 133Mhz
(tried all the multipliers). Or can this board just not run at 133Mhz (x7).

I flashed my BIOS, but still no go. Abit's website mentions that the BX6-2
will support all future CPU's. I guess that they mean all those that are
100 MHz. In either case I'm wondering if they just stopped supporting this
board (though the BIOS flash seems to be fairly new).

Any suggestions?

OR

Any suggestions for a new mobo, to use with the components that I have?

Intel CPUs are clock-locked, in your case, at x7. For 933 you need 7 x 133.
To run FSB at 133 you will need PC133 memory.

Thanks Mike.

Unfortunately she won't run at 133 - but she does at 129! Go figure! And
that IS with PC-100 RAM! Can I use 133 RAM on this mobo?

Guess you are lucky with your PC100 memory, if it didn't, you wouldn't be
able to complain as you are running it out of spec.

Mike.
