VPA Mouse problems with DOSEMU(Linux)

I have DOSEMU working great here(dos 6.22) from an hdimage, however I have
one application-- by the name of 'VGA Planets Assistant'. It uses the mouse,
and a special 'cross-hairs' cursor. It scrolls a star map when the mouse has
reached the edge of the map. Now, the mouse seems to move properly, though the
cursor is invisible-- weird. However, scrolling doesn't work properly-- if I
go up, left, up/left, up/right, or left/down, it scrolls properly, but if I go
right, down, or down/right, it will NOT scroll. Any idea what this could be?
Every other DOS app that uses the mouse seems to work properly, though I don't
think I have another that scrolls a map or anything like this one... Any help
would be appreciated. Please Email me any responses if possible(with a copy
here for lurkers). Thanks.
