For months we've been working on a new line of font and art collections
designed specifically for sale in museum gift shops and book stores. We've
finally completed the first set of these special packages and you can now
preview them online, including downloading a variety of previews of the
images which are included.

This new ARType collection is organized by artist. Each collection
includes both a selection of full-color images by the featured artist, plus
at least three fonts based on his designs or his calligraphy. There are
only a few artists whose talents qualify them to be in this series, but
they are among the most talented and the most interesting.

There are currently five collections available, including:

Alphons Mucha
Decorative panels by the Czech artist whose style defined the Art
Nouveau movement, plus three fonts based on his poster lettering, including
the new Slava font which is currently only available in this collection.

Howard Pyle
Selected book illustrations by the multi-talented founder of the
Brandywine school, plus three fonts based on his calligraphic lettering
from book titles and artistic captions.

Arthur Rackham
Some excellent fantasy art from the most popular book illustrator of
the turn of the century, plus one font based on his calligraphic titles and
two based on his unique decorative ornaments.

William Morris
Great textures and patterns based on the fabric designs of the founder
of the Arts and Crafts movement, plus three fonts based on Morris' type
design for the Kelmscott Press.

Celtic Design
The only collection not based on a single artist's work, this is a
collection of illuminated manuscript decoration, borders and patterns, plus
five fonts based on different styles of celtic calligraphy.

None of these collections is available in retail outlets yet, though they
will go into distribution within the next few weeks. However, you can
order them now for online delivery through the website.

The general address for the ARType site is
http://members.aol.com/ragnarok/artype, or go directly to a sub-page by
adding /celtic, /morris, /rackham, /pyle or /mucha to the address.
