Howdy all,

As the subject says, I'm looking for suggestions on what printers are
good for printing Esperanto documents. It would help if all
suggestions are kept to current or reasonably current printers as I'd
like to purchase new.

Does anybody know if there are printers (laser printers) that have
built-in fonts that have all the Esperanto characters?

Please e-mail all replies to buf...@ns.sympatico.ca

Sincerely,
Davis Bennett

For quite a number of years I've been printing documents in Esperanto
from my Macintosh on a Texas Instruments microLaser ps35. Recently my
wife bought an HP67C inkjet printer to attach to our Windows machine,
and it also prints Esperanto materials quite nicely (I output my
e-mail copy of "Eventoj" using it twice a month, after using global
search-and-replace to insert the twelve Esperanto characters where
they ought to be).

Neither of these has built-in Esperanto fonts. The microLaser
downloads the appropriate PostScript fonts from the Mac (or, if you
have a bunch of documents to print, there's a utility that lets you
install them). I'm not sure how the HP67C works, only that it does. I
suspect that most printers will behave similarly.

Both my HP 500 Deskjet and HP 600 Deskjet do them perfectly well from
Windows Word and Espfonts.

"A" kaj "a"
estas la sama litero. Anka^u kursiva "a" kaj grasa "A" kaj manskriba
"a" estas la sama litero. Aliflanke, tiparo difinas la aspekton de
multaj signoj, kiuj ne estas literoj ...
