Nice job. Is it die hard Win32 app or it uses some modern framework, so can be
ported? Also, do you distribute the source code?

Say its ... classic. Most code is from the 90s. So sure its Win32 :)

N> Also, do you distribute the source code?

Not currently. I try to do enough cleanup to share it in the future.

Tim

Oh, that's right. Borland Kylix was released in 2001.
But look, Deplhi is getting popular again according to the TIOBE Index
https://www.tiobe.com/tiobe-index/ It's currently on the 14th place as of
January 2022 and it was 19th a year ago.
From the Wiki Page: Delphi's compilers generate native code for Microsoft
Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux (x64).\
You have all the potential to hit each platform with your modern FTN software!

Best Regards, Nil

Qt framework initial release was back in 1995, so not totally true.

Because of the perfectionism anxiety, we still don't (won't) have HotDogEd
sources.

Its not that. Currently, Delphi 2007 is required to maintain the code. I want
to bringt the code to compatibility with the current version so people actually
can work on it. Getting there is probably very hard for people not familiar
with the old frameworks so releasing the code would be pointless, but getting
in the way of getting there.

Tim

Jep, and for a reason. I since did a lot of work in C++, Java and C# in between
and although there are a lot of things wrong with Delphi, I ended up missing
the productivity.

I know. Another reason why I want to get there. But currently, there is a lot
of native code in there. Even if it compiles with the latest version, the code
still wont port.

Tim
