Derek found a male, dark brown Dachshund near the intersection of Nolensville Road and Craighead Street, opposite the Fairgrounds.

The small, friendly, pretty little short-haired dog appeared to be lost and bewildered and Derek is temporarily hosting the dog at his home with his small, friendly dog.

The found dog appears to be about 5-7 years old, has been castrated, and had no collar.  See photo attachment.

Call Derek at 838-4089

If you can swing by a vet to see if he has been micro-chipped they can scan him. If animal control gets him he has 3 days then they euthanize and that is if they are not already full. I will share his pic on some rescue pages. Thanks for picking him up!!

Have you found the owner yet? Let us know if you are planning to take
him to animal control. My wife and I will take care of him if no one
claims him. We are Dachshund lovers and would hate to see anything bad
happen to them.

Thanks,
