Black Lab Puppy still has not been claimed we need to find a foster or forever home_ found on 10th and Caruthers

Friends:

Some good friends in Nashville recently rescued a sweet, but aparently
abandoned, puppy who needs a good home. He was found last Tuesday
wearing a red harness on the corner of 10th and Caruthers in 12th
South. He didn't have any tags or a chip and his previous owner
doesn't seem to be looking for him as they've notified Nashville
Petfinders and called all the local vets but haven't heard anything.
Here his info...please feel free to forward to anyone you think might
be interested.
Any rescue wanting to take him in or anyone in the neighborhood
recognize this dog???
He's a black lab mix, heavy on the black lab.
House trained
Probably about 4-5 months old, but not yet fixed.
Shows no evidence of fleas or anything like that.
Has VERY SOFT and shiny fur and is a healthy weight.
Really likes to play with other dogs and has great social skills with
their two dogs.
Doesn't know "sit" yet but listens to "stay" and "no."
After a bath he was well behaved and calm and had no problems sleeping
in a crate.
Sleeps all night and doesn't get up and whine or anything.
Shows no signs of destructive behavior or chewing.
