It finally felt like spring this week and for the first time in months it was 70 degrees. We are almost half way through the year and yes it has been a long slog, but remember the nicest summers anywhere in the world are right here in the Northwest. The sun also means that we are serving beer in our lovely beer garden and we will also be having some amazing barbecues as well. Right now it is Seattle Beer Week and for more then a week we will be enjoying live music and amazing beers from our local brewing friends. Coming up this Saturday the 6th is our first event with 20 Corners Brewing. Starting at 4pm we will be showcasing fantastic beers from our new Woodinville friends. At 6pm we will have a salmon barbecue and at 8pm live music from Eric Miller. What a day. The fun continues on Monday May 8th with the acoustic sounds of Andy Coe. We will tap the Seattle Beer Week Beer as well. Music starts at 8pm. On Wednesday May 10th Airways Brewing finds their way to the Fid for Beer Week. The beer will be special along with something fun from the kitchen. Finally, on Saturday May 13th we round our our Beer Week with Chainline Brewing. Not only will be smoking something wonderful, Joe Iudice will be playing tunes. Yikes what a great time. A reminder we will be enjoying Nina's Ribs this month on the 25th and Dave will be hosting his amazing trivia on the 30th. So there it is the beginning of the weather we love. As always thanks for being part of our Fid family and we hope to see for some of these fun events.
