Rosario will start production in Bogotá, Colombia, in mid-November under an interim SAG-AFTRA agreement. Dastmalchian spoke to CBR about the upcoming issue, "The very first image of Count Crowley Mediocre Midnight Monster Hunter, which is the third volume of the series, picks up right where we left off. I keep track of the date with a calendar on my writing grid as I tell these stories," he said. The writer referenced his personal inspiration for telling Jerri's story, "As a writer who's 21 years into my own recovery and battle with my addiction, as well as my own mental health journey, I've felt like the beginning of something as seemingly insurmountable as sobriety is on par with telling someone who's an addict or an alcoholic that they're going to fight literal monsters," he explained.
