The Fiber Arts Fiesta is only a month away: October 12-13. We are busy getting ready.  We have long since sold out all our spaces. When you come, you will recognize many of the vendors from last year, but you will also see a number of new faces. Take a look at the Website to see who will be there: VistaFiberArtsFiesta.com

We have been keeping the website up to date to show last minute changes.

The Weavers Barn and the Spinning Corral both will be busy.  If you want to know more about weaving or spinning, you will find lots of friendly people to talk to.

This year, the new Food Court is open. It is adjacent to the Fiesta grounds, so getting a snack will be even more convenient. There are also new bathrooms near the food court.  Don’t laugh – new, convenient bathrooms are a good thing!

As in prior years, hours are 10 am to 4 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Parking and admission are free. We plan to have shuttle service from the parking lot to the Fiesta grounds. Since the shuttle drivers are volunteers, we cannot absolutely guarantee shuttle service, but we realize it is important.

This year the Horologists will be having a Mini-Mart.  Horologists?  Who are they? They are Palomar Chapter 136 of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. They will be holding a Mini-Mart at the Farmhouse, 9 am to 4 pm both Saturday and Sunday. This is an opportunity to see clocks on display, buy a clock or clock parts, and learn about Horology.

The Vista Gem & Mineral Society Show will be taking place at the Assembly Building.

We hope you will all make it to the Fiber Arts Fiesta October 12-13 and invite your friends.  This will be a great event for Fiber Folks!
