All about fiber optics

Hi, my name, if you haven't figured it out, is Joe. I am a small
business owner, in Washington State, involved with Fiber Optics
Contracting. I specialize in Single-mode cable plant. Aerial,
Underground and Inside Premise.
I am always looking for new folks, who chew up the same dirt (So to
speak), as I do. I am always looking for innovative ideas about fiber
optic cable plant. I am interested in seeing new splice enclosures,
patch panels and of course new equipment, that I can't afford. I am
always looking for some sort of software for fiber optic management or
schematic drawing ideas. Most of my work is currently in the ITS
field (Intelligent Transportation Systems). You know, those steel
cabinets that you don't really notice on the sides of the freeways, or
near traffic signals. I have also been involved in just about every
arena, that fiber optics is located, from hospitals, to schools.
Private business to long haul telephone companies. Submarine cable to
OPGW cable. I still feel that I need to learn more and talk with
people who feel the same way. Lets get the ball rolling, here on the
Google Fiber Optics forum....Hope to hear from you all.

Joe, I am interested in doing the same thing here. I think it would be
great to create a group that offered information and support to fiber
optic professionals. I have been loading different tech articles and
useful info for this community.
