How has your community changed?

I'm curious to know what other communities have experienced as a
result of, or in concert with their efforts to bring Google FTH.

Although some might think of this as a competition with winners and
losers, I personally think we can all learn from each other.

Just within the past few weeks, for example, we (my business partner
and I) saw a need, crafted a solution, and are launching a regional
science fair that will encourage our area's youth to partcipate in
state and national competition.

Among other things, we're also in the process of building upon our
community gardening project, and we're completing the design phase of
a maze installation with an internationally known artist.

None of this, I believe, would have been as possible without the
opportunity for challenge presented by Google Fiber for Communities.
