Download the Exam4 Software Application to the computer on which you plan to take your exam(s) at least 48 hours prior to the administration of your first exam of the semester. The Exam4 software should be downloaded once per academic term, even if you are scheduled to take an exam in separate time periods (e.g. the October take-home exam period and the December exam period).

Practice exams are strongly encouraged. Students should run the practice exam in TAKEHOME mode to confirm that Exam4 is compatible with your exam laptop. You can take an unlimited number of practice tests. Do NOT wait until the day of the exam to take your practice test.

Students must begin and submit their exams by reference to United States Eastern Time (Washington DC time), which is the time zone setting for take-home exams in Exam4. Students can see how their particular time zone compares to Washington DC time using the World Clock. There is no timer function in Exam4 that will alert you when the exam submission time is ending. Please take particular care to note when you start and need to submit your exam according to Washington DC time. Students must comply with the Washington DC submission time regardless of the time zone where they are taking their exam.

All take-home exam answers must be submitted through Exam4, unless alternate instructions have been provided by the Office of the Registrar and your professor. Students may not submit answers via alternative formats such as Microsoft Word or email; nor should students send answers directly to Law Center faculty.

Unless expressly authorized by the professor in writing, students are prohibited from copying/cutting and pasting any pre-written text (written prior to starting their exam) into their take-home exam responses. This rule applies regardless of who authored the text. Please note that cutting/copying and pasting external text into Exam 4 may change the formatting.

If you believe there is an error, inconsistency, or omission in the exam, please state your assumptions about the issue within your discussion of that issue. No clarifications or corrections will be provided.

Once an exam is submitted for grading, no requests to add or revise a word or character count will be accepted. Your original submission will be sent to your professor for grading. No amendments or supplements will be permitted or accepted.

If a student officially begins a take-home exam but fails to submit the answer file within 24 hours after the deadline, the student will be assigned a grade of AF [Administrative Fail] for the course. Please carefully review the Administrative Sanctions of the Student Disciplinary Code (Georgetown Law Student Handbook). Students who fail to download an examination may be assigned a grade of AF [Administrative Fail] for the course.

If a problem arises during the administration of a take-home exam, such as the sudden onset of an illness or a computer malfunction, the student must stop working on their exam and immediately contact the Office of the Registrar at 202-662-9220 or at law...@georgetown.edu.

If the problem arises outside of business hours, the student should stop working on their exam and send an email with a description of the issue to the Office of the Registrar at law...@georgetown.edu, thereby establishing a record of the problem.

All exams are administered through the Exam4 software application and graded on an anonymous basis. Students are subject to the Student Disciplinary Code and, as such, self-identification of any kind within the exam is not permitted; nor may they discuss the substance of the exam with faculty or with any other student from the time the exam is first administered until after grades are published.

You MUST be logged into a user-account that has full administrative rights to your device in order to run Exam4. Work laptops are not recommended for use as administrator rights are maintained by the respective organization/company. Users of institututionally owned/controlled devices should contact their IT Department for assistance. Exam4 requires administrator rights every time it is used for an in-class and/or takehome exam.

Important details regarding the administration of take-home examinations (accessed independently by students within a designated period of time) can be found by clicking on the following link: Take-Home Exam Procedures.

The Office of the Registrar manages exam conflicts and deferrals. All such requests should be directed to the Office of the Registrar; not to faculty or other administrative offices. Information regarding exam deferrals, exam conflicts, the Student Disciplinary Code and other Georgetown Law Policies may be found by clicking the following link for the online Georgetown Law Student Handbook. Instructions for submitting a request can be found by clicking on the following link: Exam Conflicts and Exam Deferrals.

Per Academic Policy, students may request to review exams and final papers that have been returned to the Office of the Registrar during a scheduled exam review period each semester. Details and instructions may be found by clicking on the following link: Exam Review.

Online past exam papers are based on the set of papers which the Library receives from schools and includes papers from first, second, third and honours years. They are available in pdf format for revision purposes only. We do not have solutions for past exam questions.

Please note that the copyright for all the past exam papers made available here belongs to the Atlantic Technological University. You must therefore obtain permission before redistributing or publishing all or part of any paper.

Sometimes there are no exam papers listed, or the ones that are there are quite old. This is because the subject coordinators have chosen not to make the past papers available or do not want recent papers available.

The library provides online access to some past exam papers on Library Search. Not all courses provide exam papers for the library, so if you can't find what you need on Library Search you should speak to your module leader.

2. Use 'content type' to filter your search results to 'Exam papers'. You might have to select 'show more' to see this option. If the 'Exam papers' option does not appear, it means there are no results that match the module you have searched for.

3. Click on the title of the module and follow the 'available online' link. Then click on 'Sheffield Hallam exam papers'. You will need to login to access the exam paper using your Hallam username and password.

UQ staff and students can access past exam papers which have been released by UQ Examinations in the last 5 years through the Library, supporting current students in their study and exam preparations.

Download a local copy of the metadata sheet, and add a line of metadata for each exam paper you are submitting, and then email the PDFs together with the completed metadata sheet to readin...@ucl.ac.uk. There is an example line at the top of the metadata sheet. Feel free to delete this before proceeding.

The exam papers are hosted by mysoas (the School's intranet), to access you must be a student or staff member at SOAS. You will be prompted for a username and password when you go to the site - this is your student number or staff id (e.g. 123456 or ee15) and the same password you use for your SOAS e-mail, computers, Moodle, etc.

The current 5 years of papers are available for download. Every effort is made to provide all papers - not all courses run each year and not all papers can be made available. If you need a paper that is not available e-mail elect...@soas.ac.uk and we'll do our best to assist.

All exam papers are available in PDF format. These will download automatically on all computers in SOAS, but if you are using a computer off-site you need to have software such as Adobe Reader installed to be able to read these documents.

Exam Papers Online is primarily based on papers which the Library receives directly from Schools and includes papers from first, second, third year and honours years and some advanced courses. Specifically requested exclusions are not included.

Please note: for many courses the provision of exams in Spring 2020 differs from previous years due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The relevance of previous exam papers will vary greatly between courses so please contact your course organiser or programme administration team to find out if consulting previous exam papers will be helpful to you as a revision study aid.

A request may be submitted to have a paper, or papers, removed from the web pages by emailing the address below, giving details of the academic year and course title of the paper(s) concerned and the reason for the request.

This collection contains only those exam papers that University of Melbourne departments have given permission to be deposited in the University Library Digital Repository. Due to assessment changes over the past few years, no new exam papers have been uploaded to the collection since 2019. Therefore not all University of Melbourne exam papers are held in the Examination Paper Collection. Also examination solutions are not included.

When accessing exam papers students and staff will need to login using their University of Melbourne email login and password. Login via the link at the top right of all the Examination Paper Collection pages.

Students have the right to access their examination scripts. Schools must retain scripts for 12 months to allow for possible appeals and re-marking, after which time they may be disposed of in confidential waste. Students may access their examination scripts for discussions with academics if they place their request in writing to the examiner within 28 days of the issue of the official results.
