If you want to add the steps to the DBQ, that might be helpful
too :)!!!
Steps for a DBQ:
1) Figure out what the question is asking.
2) Decide what type of essay the question is asking for:
THE FOUR TYPES OF ESSAYS:
· Cause and Effect Essay
· Five Paragraph Essay
· Chronologically Ordered Essay
· Compare and Contrast Essay
3) Construct a chart or outline
4) Plug into the chart the details that you know
5) Read the information given (the documents), mainly the headings
6) Add more factoids from the documents
7) Write a thesis
8) Plan your body paragraphs by giving a heading for each one as to
what you are planning to put in them.
Well, I hope this helps!!!

I've added in the steps now, let me know if there's anything else to
put on there!

It is clear that all the lives that were lost in the American Civil
War to insure a 'new birth of freedom' were in vain. By 1880, the
South had defeated the weak Northern efforts in behalf of the
freedmen, and had re-enslaved the Negro. Assess the validity of this
statement using the documents and your knowledge of U S History.
How do you explain the failure of Reconstruction to bring justice and
social and economic equality to freed Blacks?
To what extent did Reconstruction bring the Southern Negro the
equality and freedom that slavery had denied them?

1870s: Constitutional and Social Development

In what ways and to what extent did constitutional and social
development between 1860 and 1877 amount to a revolution?
